 CAREER

Niyi Adesanya is the CEO of FifthGear Plus Consulting. The decision-making, chairing of strategic sessions and corporate networking is his primary roles. In the last seventeen years of the firm’s existence, he has built the client base of the firm to include at least one of the top three organizations in major sectors of the Nigerian economy.

He leads the team of consultants at FifthGear Plus Consulting in business re-engineering and restructuring, retreats, and strategy sessions for her clients across diverse sectors, and as an offshoot of these engagements, they have experienced between 63% - 313% increase in their sales as of 2021 and with some having an asset base up to 20 billion naira.

In just the first quarter of 2022, he consulted for organizations within the Finance, Real estate, Power, and Engineering servicing sectors, with a workforce of close to 120,000 staff in both fulltime and contract employment.

In 2012, he led FifthGear Plus Consulting in a rigorous biding and presentation with the leading financial institution in Nigeria, First Bank Nigeria, and won the contract to be a vendor at the First Academy where they delivered over 30 different courses; trained over 850 graduate trainees and 300 management staff for the academy in different parts of the country. Based on the track record of undeniable success they also won the contract as a vendor for The Nigerian Stock Exchange Graduate Trainee Programme and Wema Banks’ Purple Academy.

He is the convener of the Niyi Adesanya Business Think Thank a semi-formal league of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs dedicated to building centenary organizations with a global brand by putting into perspective its peculiar dynamics and evolving business environment. Since its inception in 2019, he has been able to help businesses across various sectors cut through the complexities of today’s rapidly changing business environment by leveraging the knowledge, skills, and expertise across our global network of industry veterans and experts.

 He is also the Convener of the Niyi Adesanya Leadership Bootcamp (NALB) which is an annual 2- day premium refueling and rejuvenating workshop that provides Managers, Supervisors, Team leads, C- suite Executives, Directors, and Entrepreneurs with hand on tools to enable them to best manage systems, processes and people effectively, inspire teams, guide change initiatives, navigate the complexities and politics in managing internal and external stakeholders.
